This monthly air quality report for October 2018 presents the results of air quality measurements around BLCP Power Station throughout October 2018, with various parameters measured at 4 monitoring stations: Wat Takuan, Maptaphut Subdistrict Municipality, PTT Staff Residence, and Wat Map Chalood.
The 24-hour average measurement results for Total Suspended Particulates (TSP) showed that values measured throughout October 2018 were below 100 micrograms per cubic meter, which is significantly lower than the legal standard of 330 micrograms per cubic meter. Similarly, the 24-hour average for Particulate Matter less than 10 micrometers (PM10) had values below 50 micrograms per cubic meter, which is lower than the legal standard of 120 micrograms per cubic meter.
For the hourly maximum measurement of Sulfur Dioxide (SO2), values measured throughout October 2018 were below 100 parts per billion (ppb), which is clearly lower than the legal standard of 300 parts per billion. And for the hourly maximum measurement of Nitrogen Dioxide (NO2), values were below 50 parts per billion, which is lower than the legal standard of 170 parts per billion.
In summary, the air quality measurement results for all 4 parameters: TSP, PM10, SO2, and NO2, at all 4 monitoring stations throughout October 2018, show that all measured values were below the established legal standards.
