This report summarizes the air quality monitoring results around BLCP Power Station for November 2017. The following parameters were measured: Total Suspended Particulates (TSP), Particulate Matter less than 10 microns (PM10), Sulfur Dioxide (SO2), and Nitrogen Dioxide (NO2) at 4 monitoring stations: Wat Takuan, Maptaphut Subdistrict Municipality, PTT Housing, and Wat Mab Chalood.
For the 24-hour average Total Suspended Particulates (TSP) measurements throughout November 2017, all measured values were below the Thai legal standard of 330 micrograms per cubic meter. The maximum measured values were approximately 100-120 micrograms per cubic meter on some days.
Regarding the 24-hour average Particulate Matter less than 10 microns (PM10) measurements throughout November 2017, all measured values were below the Thai legal standard of 120 micrograms per cubic meter. The maximum measured values were approximately 40-50 micrograms per cubic meter on some days.
As for the hourly maximum Sulfur Dioxide (SO2) measurements throughout November 2017, all measured values were below the Thai legal standard of 300 parts per billion (ppb). Most values were in the range of 0-20 parts per billion (ppb).
And for the hourly maximum Nitrogen Dioxide (NO2) measurements throughout November 2017, all measured values were below the Thai legal standard of 170 parts per billion (ppb). Most values were in the range of 0-30 parts per billion (ppb).
In summary, the air quality monitoring results for all parameters at all 4 monitoring stations throughout November 2017 were within the standards set by Thai law. Full details are available in the attached file.
