BLCP Power Station's May 2017 Air Quality Report presents the results of air quality measurements around the power plant. Four main parameters were measured: Total Suspended Particulates (TSP), Particulate Matter less than 10 microns (PM10), Sulfur Dioxide (SO2), and Nitrogen Dioxide (NO2) at four monitoring stations: Wat Takuan, Thoed Thai Muslim, PTT Staff Residence, and Wat Mab Chalood.
For the 24-hour average measurement of Total Suspended Particulates (TSP), the measured values throughout May 2017 were consistently below the standard value of 330 micrograms per cubic meter. Periods of high mist were noted on May 15, 22, and 26, 2017.
Regarding the 24-hour average Particulate Matter less than 10 microns (PM10), the measurement results showed that the values were below the standard value of 120 micrograms per cubic meter throughout the month. Data logger damage was noted in the early part of the month, and periods of high mist were also noted, similar to TSP.
The measurement results for hourly maximum Sulfur Dioxide (SO2) and hourly maximum Nitrogen Dioxide (NO2) showed that the measured values at all stations were clearly below the standard values. The standard values are 300 ppb for SO2 and 170 ppb for NO2.
In summary, the overall air quality in May 2017 at all four monitoring stations met the established standards. Further details can be found in the attached file.
