This report summarizes the results of ambient air quality measurements in July 2017. Measurements were conducted at 4 air quality monitoring stations, namely Wat Takuan, Thoed Thai Muslim, PTT Housing, and Wat Mab Chalood.
The 24-hour average measurements of Total Suspended Particulates (TSP) throughout July 2017 consistently showed values below the Thai national standard of 330 micrograms per cubic meter. Similarly, the 24-hour average measurements of Particulate Matter less than 10 micrometers (PM10) were below the standard of 120 micrograms per cubic meter throughout the month. However, it was noted that the semiconductor-type PM10 monitor at Station D experienced an anomaly during this period.
For the hourly maximum measurements of Sulfur Dioxide (SO2) and Nitrogen Dioxide (NO2), values were found to be below the Thai national standards of 300 ppb and 170 ppb, respectively, throughout July 2017.
Overall, the ambient air quality measurements in July 2017 at all 4 monitoring stations indicated that air quality met the established standards, with the exception of the PM10 monitor anomaly at Station D. Full details are provided in the attached file.
