The BLCP Power Station Ambient Air Quality Monitoring Report for January 2017 presents the results of ambient air quality measurements for key pollutants, including Total Suspended Particulates (TSP), Particulate Matter less than 10 microns (PM10), Sulfur Dioxide (SO2), and Nitrogen Dioxide (NO2). Measurements were conducted at 4 locations: Wat Takun, Thoed Thai Muslim, PTT Housing, and Wat Mab Chalood, throughout January 2017.
The 24-hour average measurements for Total Suspended Particulates (TSP) showed that all measured values at all monitoring stations throughout January 2017 were below the legally prescribed standard, which is 330 micrograms per cubic meter. Similarly, 24-hour average measurements for Particulate Matter less than 10 microns (PM10) at all monitoring stations consistently remained below the standard of 120 micrograms per cubic meter.
For the 1-hour maximum measurements of Sulfur Dioxide (SO2) and Nitrogen Dioxide (NO2), all measured values at all monitoring stations throughout January 2017 were also below the legally prescribed standards. The standard for SO2 is 300 ppb, and for NO2 is 170 ppb.
In summary, ambient air quality for all measured pollutants at all 4 monitoring stations throughout January 2017 fully complied with all legally prescribed standards. Full details are available in the attached file.
