The Monthly Air Quality Report for August 2018 of BLCP Power Station presents the results of air quality measurements around the power plant from August 1-31, 2018, at 4 monitoring stations: Wat Takuan, Thoed Thai Muslim, PTT Housing, and Wat Mab Chalood.
The 24-hour average measurement results for Total Suspended Particulate (TSP) showed that all measured values were below the standard criterion of 330 micrograms per cubic meter. Similarly, for the 24-hour average of Particulate Matter less than 10 micrometers (PM10), all measured values were below the standard criterion of 120 micrograms per cubic meter.
For the measurement of hourly maximum Sulfur Dioxide (SO2), all measured values were below the standard criterion of 300 parts per billion (ppb). Similarly, for hourly maximum Nitrogen Dioxide (NO2), all measured values were also below the standard criterion of 170 parts per billion (ppb).
In summary, the air quality measurement results for all 4 parameters, namely TSP, PM10, SO2, and NO2, at all monitoring stations and throughout August 2018, were all below the legally prescribed standard criteria.
