This report summarizes the ambient air quality monitoring results for August 2017, with measurements taken at Wat Takun, Thoed Thai Muslim, PTT Staff Residence, and Wat Mab Chalood monitoring stations throughout the month from August 1 to 31, 2017.
For 24-hour average Total Suspended Particulate (TSP) levels, all measured values at the various stations were consistently below the Thai national standard of 330 micrograms per cubic meter throughout August 2017.
Regarding 24-hour average Particulate Matter less than 10 micrometers (PM10) levels, all measured values at the various stations were also below the Thai national standard of 120 micrograms per cubic meter throughout the month.
For Sulfur Dioxide (SO2) and Nitrogen Dioxide (NO2) gases, the maximum hourly values measured at all stations were also below the Thai national standards of 300 ppb and 170 ppb, respectively, throughout August 2017.
Overall, the ambient air quality in the monitored areas met the established standards for all reported parameters. However, it is noted that the beta radiation source cell of Station D was damaged as of July 16, 2017. Full details are available in the attached file.
