Ambient Air Quality Monitoring Report for April 2017 presents the results of ambient air quality measurements around BLCP Power Station throughout April 2017. Measurements were taken for four key air pollutants at four monitoring stations: Wat Takuan, Thoedthai Muslim, PTT Housing, and Wat Mab Chalood.
The 24-hour average measurements for Total Suspended Particulates (TSP) showed values at all monitoring stations were below the Thai legal standard of 330 micrograms per cubic meter throughout the month. Similarly, 24-hour average measurements for Particulate Matter less than 10 microns (PM10) were below the standard of 120 micrograms per cubic meter at all monitoring stations.
For hourly maximum measurements of Sulfur Dioxide (SO2), values at all monitoring stations were consistently below the Thai legal standard of 300 parts per billion (ppb) throughout April 2017. Hourly maximum measurements for Nitrogen Dioxide (NO2) also showed values at all monitoring stations were below the standard of 170 parts per billion (ppb).
In summary, the ambient air quality measurements around BLCP Power Station in April 2017 for TSP, PM10, SO2, and NO2 at all four monitoring stations were all below the established Thai legal standards. Full details are available in the attached file.
