Press conference to launch the "Friends of the Community" group at Dusit Thani Hotel, Bangkok, spearheaded by 5 Maptaphut operators (PTT, SCG, BLCP, Dow Chemical, and Glow Group companies). This marks Thailand's first industrial collaboration, aiming to serve as a model for developing and elevating factories to be close friends and neighbors to the community, as well as managing the environment to exceed legal requirements, with mutual monitoring and oversight. It focuses on promoting community quality of life in both health and education, so that industry and community can coexist sustainably. The "Friends of the Community" group is the first collaboration of industrial operators in Thailand, established to develop industry towards clean, environmentally friendly industry, with sincerity, seriousness, and a commitment to solving problems together.
