Received the Outstanding Environmental Award from the Austcham Thailand Business Award 2008, organized by the Australian-Thai Chamber of Commerce (Austcham). This award reflects BLCP Power Station's paramount dedication and commitment to environmental stewardship, evident even during the pre-construction and pre-operation phases. This includes the collection of environmental data for management and legal reporting, with relevant communities and government agencies having constant access to view and verify this information. Additionally, BLCP regularly holds meetings to report environmental performance and exchange opinions with the community. Furthermore, a learning center (Keang Saket Energy Building) was established for community members and interested visitors.
