BLCP Power Station participated in World Oceans Day 2019.

June 11, 2019 – Mr. Pongthana Nirophas, representative of BLCP Power Station, and his team participated in the "World Oceans Day" 2019 event, organized by the Marine and Coastal Resources Management Office 1 (MCRMO 1) at Laem Charoen Beach Multipurpose Area. Mr. Surasak Charoensirichote, Governor of Rayong Province, presided over the ceremony. The event featured a joint declaration to conserve the sea by representatives from the Rayong River and Mangrove Conservation Group and the private sector, exhibitions from government and private agencies, a rope fish aggregating device (FAD) making activity, a fish house assembly activity, the release of aquatic animals and 20 turtles, and a joint beach cleanup along 5 km of the coastline.
