The 2017 Aquatic Species Release Project to enhance aquatic resources in Rayong Province, marking its 15th consecutive year.

December 13, 2017 – BLCP Power Station, in collaboration with the Rayong Provincial Fisheries Office, Marine and Coastal Resources Management Office Region 1, Map Ta Phut Industrial Port Office, Glow Group, SCG Chemicals Co., Ltd., PTT Group, and Star Petroleum Refining Public Company Limited, jointly organized an aquatic species release ceremony. The initiative aims to increase marine aquatic populations, help maintain ecological balance, and boost income for the fishing profession, a vital occupation for the country's economy. Furthermore, this project will help raise awareness for marine resource conservation and environmental protection in local communities, while fostering strong relationships among government agencies, local residents, and industrial operators in Rayong Province. Mr. Insee Kerdmanee (Muang Rayong District Chief) graciously presided over the opening ceremony, with Mr. Warin Dutsadeewongkamjorn (Mayor of Rayong City) delivering a welcoming speech, and Mr. Weerapol Puangpittayawut (Director of Corporate Relations) reporting on the project's objectives. The event took place at the Kaoyod Small Fishing Group, Pak Nam Subdistrict, Mueang Rayong District, Rayong Province.
