The "Around BLCP Vol. 4" issue, dated January 11, 2016, is the 4th quarter magazine, concluding 2015 (Year of the Goat) and welcoming 2016 (Year of the Monkey). Editor Pangda – Wimol Yongpanichkul extended New Year greetings for 2016 and presented interesting content in this issue.
The "BLCP in Focus" section presents information about the "Thepha Coal-Fired Power Plant Project," which is part of Thailand's Power Development Plan 2012-2030 (PDP 2012-2030), approved by the Cabinet on June 19, 2012. This project is operated by EGAT, with a total generating capacity of 2,200 MW (2 units, 1,100 MW each), located in Pak Bang Subdistrict, Thepha District, Songkhla Province, on an area of 2,960 rai. Commercial operation is scheduled for Unit 1 in April 2021 and Unit 2 in April 2022. The objective is to enhance energy security in the southern region and address various concerns regarding environmental and community impacts by emphasizing the use of clean coal technology and a closed system for management.
In the "Gossip" section, photos from Family Day 2015, held on November 14, 2015, at Dream World amusement park, are featured, with a large number of employees and their families attending. Scholarships were awarded to employees' children, along with Lucky Draw prizes. Additionally, there are photos from the company's New Year Party 2016, held on December 18, 2015, at Ploen Ta Restaurant in Rayong Province, with a "Back 2 School" theme, where employees dressed in school uniforms and enjoyed the event. This issue also includes the "Variety BLCP" column, which presents the Slow Life concept; the "Happy English with Kru Dow" column, comparing British-English and American-English vocabulary; and the "Bok Lao Sib by Mai Tri" column, where employees share their New Year Resolutions for 2016. Additionally, there is a calendar of activities for January – March 2016, such as Children's Day, Khao Lam Festival, mobile medical units, and a royal merit-making aquatic animal release project, as well as the 2016 annual holiday calendar and the announcement of lucky draw winners from activities in Issue 3.
