Huay Pong Open Correctional Institution partners with the private sector and local authorities to drive organic waste management, aiming for a sustainable environment.
On July 15, 2026, BLCP Power Station (BLCP), in collaboration with Huay Pong Open Correctional Institution, Map Ta Phut Industrial Port Office (MTPPO), Industrial Estate Authority of Thailand (IEAT), and the Environmental Services Division, Public Health and Environment Department, Map Ta Phut City Municipality, organized the activity "Organic Waste Management and Production of Ready-to-Plant Soil from Leaf Litter," a collaborative effort to drive the Circular Economy.
This activity was organized to promote proper organic waste management, focusing on reducing waste volume, minimizing burning, and transforming leaf litter for maximum benefit, which are crucial for environmental conservation and sustainable development.
