The BLCP Power Station Tripartite Committee Meeting No. 72-2/2562 was held on Thursday, June 27, 2562, from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM, at the Meeting/Seminar Room, Energy Kiang Saket Building, BLCP Power Station, with Mr. Wira Mawijak as Chairman. The meeting acknowledged the Chairman's announcements and resolved to approve the minutes of Meeting No. 70-4/2561, dated December 21, 2561.
Ms. Wimol Yongpanichkul, Corporate Communications Manager, reported on the progress of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities and community relations between December 2561 and March 2562. During this period, BLCP Power Station received a total of 2,910 visitors, bringing the cumulative total of visitors to 127,684 since 2544. Additionally, BLCP Power Station co-hosted the Thod Pha Pa Samakkee (merit-making ceremony) for 12 temples and supported the Mobile Medical Unit for Community Friends project 16 times. Furthermore, the company returned over 8,860 million baht in Value Added Tax (VAT) and Withholding Tax to the local community from October 2549 to February 2562.
Ms. Parichart Assawakul, Deputy Managing Director, reported that BLCP Power Station achieved 4 million man-hours without Lost Time Injury (LTI) on December 17, 2561, and aims for 5.5 million man-hours by January 5, 2563. Additionally, the power plant is scheduled for an audit to maintain its ISO 14001 and OHSAS 45001 certifications on April 23, 2562.
Dr. Jirawan Champaneel summarized the environmental performance results between September and November 2561, finding that the average sulfur content in coal was 0.42%, which is within EIA standards. The total net electricity generation was 1,116,615 MWh-net for Unit 1 and 693,137 MWh-net for Unit 2. The total fly ash and bottom ash exported amounted to 94,152.43 tons and 9,556.24 tons, respectively. Air quality discharged from the stack and general noise levels were within the prescribed standards, as were the quality of water discharged from the cooling water discharge canal and the surrounding seawater quality in Map Ta Phut Bay.
The meeting also acknowledged the progress of the "Good Health, Happy Life" health promotion project and BLCP Power Station's receipt of the Green Star White Flag Award for 2562.
