From classroom experience to learning about the world of business and innovation from real-world situations.

On August 1, 2569, BLCP Power Limited opened its doors to welcome selected students participating in the BLCP Business & Innovation Camp 2026, held from August 1–2, 2569, at BLCP Power Station, Rayong Province.

The activities began with an introduction to safety guidelines for visiting the power plant, followed by a video presentation introducing BLCP Power Station by the Corporate Communications team, to help the students familiarize themselves with the area, understand the activity procedures, and ensure safe learning within the power plant throughout the two days.

Subsequently, Mr. Surachet Rattanaprasert, Deputy Managing Director of BLCP Power Limited, had the honor of delivering the opening remarks and welcoming the students, while offering encouragement and guidance for their studies. He emphasized that the students should be open to learning, listen attentively, take notes on important points, and apply the knowledge and experience gained from the activities to their studies, future planning, and self-development.

In the first learning session, the students gained an understanding of the role of the Finance and Accounting Department in the power plant business from Mr. Chettapon Paiboonwarakij, Finance and Accounting Manager, who explained how financial, cost, and resource management are crucial for the stability and sustainability of a large-scale business operation.

This was followed by the topic of Economic Impact, presented by Ms. Atchara Somboonmee, Power Purchase and Fuel Contract Management Analyst, who encouraged the students to broaden their perspective, explaining that power plant operations are not solely about electricity generation, but are also interconnected with the economy, employment, business sectors, communities, and various stakeholders.

After gaining knowledge from BLCP's experts, the students proceeded to hands-on learning activities led by Tutorrus Institute, with Ms. Jutharat Rueansuk and Mr. Panachai Chaiyawijitsilp, who designed the learning process to encourage students to think, analyze, and work together as a team.

Throughout the day, the students actively participated in intensive activities, including Activity-based Learning, Mini Pitch, Business Case Studies, Customer Insight, Idea Generation Sprint, and SWOT Analysis, to practice systematic problem-solving, understand customer needs, identify business opportunities, and develop actionable ideas.

Additionally, the students participated in a BLCP Site Tour, gaining firsthand experience of power plant operations, before concluding with a Consulting Session where each team received close guidance to develop their concepts and prepare for the important tasks on Day 2.

Just the first day was filled with energy, creativity, and learning. All student teams dared to think, ask questions, express opinions, and present their ideas fully.
