Aquatic Animal Breeding Farm Project

This project originated from the findings of a practical study project on developing a sustainable quality of life plan for local fisheries in 2013. In conjunction with the industrial sector's demand for purchasing marine species for annual aquatic animal release activities, held 9 times a year, the Aquatic Animal Breeding Farm Project for blue crabs and marine shrimp was initiated in 2017 and continues to the present, in collaboration with the Ban Payoon Small-Scale Fishermen Group.

The project aims to increase aquatic animal populations, generate supplementary income and distribute profits to members of the small-scale fishermen group, and serve as a learning and operational center for coastal resource conservation and restoration. With a supporting budget of over 1.3 million Baht, it has helped create careers and income for over 30 members.
