Educate visitors about various marine animal species and their lives, as well as provide knowledge about fishing.

It features a wide variety of marine species for viewing, along with marine information resources for study and research. Group visits are welcome, making it ideal for educational trips, especially for students and interested individuals. The exhibitions within the Rayong Aquarium are divided into 3 parts:

 

 

1 Shallow Water Ecosystem Pond (touch pool)Displays marine animals from ecosystems located
no more than 200 meters from the coastline, such as Red Sea Stars, Cushion Sea Stars, Orange Sea Cucumbers, Spiny Sea Cucumbers, etc.

 

2 Marine Aquariums: 43 tanksSubdivided into 3 parts:

2.1 Coral Reef Dwellers: Features colorful marine animals found in coral reefs, such as Clownfish, Butterflyfish, Parrotfish, Wrasse, Damselfish, Surgeonfish, Angelfish, Tang, Moray Eels, Seahorses, and Lobsters, etc.

      1.2.1 สัตว์น้ำที่อาศัยในแนวปะการัง จัดแสดงสัตว์น้ำที่มีสีสันสวยงามในแนวปะการัง เช่น ปลาการ์ตูน ปลาผีเสื้อ ปลานกแก้ว ปลานกขุนทอง ปลาสลิดหิน ปลาสลิดทะเล ปลาสินสมุทร ปลาขี้ตังเบ็ด ปลาไหลมอเรย์ ม้าน้ำ และกุ้งมังกร เป็นต้น

2.2 Economically Important Marine Animals: Showcases marine animals of economic significance and those used as food, including species cultured by the Department of Fisheries, such as Blacktip Grouper, Red Grouper, Bluespotted Grouper, Humpback Grouper, Milkfish, Blue Swimming Crabs, Mud Crabs, Slipper Lobsters, Mantis Shrimps, and Sweet Clams, etc.

      1.2.2 สัตว์น้ำเศรษฐกิจ จัดแสดงสัตว์น้ำที่มีความสำคัญทางเศรษฐกิจ และใช้เป็นอาหาร รวมทั้งสัตว์น้ำที่กรมประมงเพาะพันธุ์ได้ เช่น ปลากะรังดอกดำ ปลากะรังดอกแดง ปลากะรังเหลืองจุดฟ้า ปลากะรังหน้างอน ปลานวลจันทร์ทะเล ปูม้า ปูทะเล กั้งกระดาน กั้งตั๊กแตน และหอยหวาน เป็นต้น

2.3 Venomous or Dangerous Marine Animals: To inform the public about the dangers of marine animals, including those toxic when consumed, such as Pufferfish, Horseshoe Crabs, and those toxic upon contact, such as Sea Urchins, Lionfish, Stonefish, Scorpionfish, Bluespotted Stingrays, and Cone Snails, etc.

   1.2.3 สัตว์ทะเลมีพิษหรือสัตว์ทะเลที่เป็นอันตราย เพื่อให้ประชาชนได้รับทราบและระวังถึงพิษภัยของสัตว์ทะเล ได้แก่ สัตว์ทะเลที่เป็นพิษจากการรับประทาน เช่น ปลาปักเป้า แมงดาถ้วย และสัตว์ทะเลที่เป็นพิษจากการสัมผัส เช่น เม่นทะเล ปลาสิงโต ปลากะรังหัวโขน ปลาอุบ ปลากะเบนจุดฟ้า และหอยเต้าปูน เป็นต้น

3 Large Ponds: 4 ponds

Comprising:3.1 Outdoor Fish Pond (5,400 tons): Features an underwater ecosystem with large marine fish, including Giant Groupers weighing over 100 kilograms, Stingrays, Trevally, Bigeye Snappers, Blacktip Reef Sharks, and various types of Snappers and Groupers.

3.2 Tunnel Pond (400 tons): Features a 10-meter walk-through tunnel for an up-close experience with marine life, showcasing various marine fish such as Eagle Rays, various types of Groupers, Bigeye Snappers, Batfish, Red Snappers, Tang, Damselfish, Flame Parrotfish, and Cleaner Wrasse, etc.

3.3 Sea Turtle Pond (280 tons): Displays sea turtle species, including Hawksbill Sea Turtles and Green Sea Turtles, as well as small marine fish such as Mullet, Damselfish, Yellowfin Snappers, and Surgeonfish, etc.

3.4 Cylindrical Pond (40 tons): Features surface-dwelling fish species such as Mackerel, Indian Mackerel, Trevally, Queenfish, Striped Damselfish, Yellow-spotted Damselfish, Scat, and Yellowstripe Scad, etc.

Open Wednesday - Friday from 10:00 - 16:00 / Saturday - Sunday and public holidays from 10:00 - 17:00.


Closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. Admission tickets are 30 Baht for adults and 10 Baht for children.
