Wang Chan Forest Learning Center by PTT Forestation and Ecosystem Institute

Building on this success, PTT expanded the achievements of its work to establishPTT Forestation and Ecosystem Instituteestablished on January 1, 2013, to promote and support sustainability in natural resource and environmental conservation, covering ecosystems including soil, water, and forests. Its mandate also includes conserving and restoring the original 1 million rai of planted forest areas established by PTT, ensuring ecosystem balance and mitigating global warming. Furthermore, it is responsible for maintaining PTT's forest plantations under the Royal Permanent Forestation Project (1994-2002) in perfect condition, with the aim of developing it into a hub for collecting and disseminating PTT's knowledge on forest planting and restoration, promoting sustainable economic, social, and environmental development through forest resource conservation, and managing learning centers for the benefit and well-being of the Thai people.
