BLCP Mangrove Conservation Project

This was a collaborative project between Rayong City Municipality, 8 communities surrounding the Phra Samut Chedi mangrove forest area, and BLCP Power Station. Implemented from 2008-2012, it encompassed network building, project area surveys, development of a mangrove forest master plan, mangrove forest restoration, establishment of nurseries and cultivation of plant species, branch pruning, waterway excavation, waste barrier construction, and the creation of a mangrove learning center.
