BLCP Power Station organized a volunteer activity, continuing its CSR efforts by building check dams (10th year).

BLCP Power Station and Glow Group, in collaboration with Ban Chang Subdistrict Municipality and Ban Noen Kraprok Community, jointly organized a check dam construction activity "In Commemoration of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother".For the 10th consecutive year, at Ban Noen Kraprok Community Forest, which is one of Rayong Province's important headwater forests, as it is a source of streams that sustain people in Ban Chang District and Mueang Rayong District, Rayong Province. This headwater forest ecosystem is therefore crucial for people and the environment as a whole. Building check dams is one way to conserve valuable forest and water resources in accordance with royal initiatives. This activity was honored by the presence of Mr. Jirasak Tapapoj (District Chief of Ban Chang) as the chairman of the ceremony, and Mr. Yutthana Charoenwong (Managing Director of BLCP Power Company Limited) who reported on the objectives.

Main objectives of this activity.
To be part of the check dam construction project (natural weirs) and to follow the royal initiatives of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great.

To conserve and develop natural resources, the environment, and the headwater forest ecosystem in the area to achieve sustainable balance.

To foster participation and instill awareness in caring for forest resources and the environment among all sectors in accordance with the Pracharath policy.

In this volunteer activity, all sectors, including employees and families from both companies, genuinely committed themselves to dedicate merit to His Majesty, in conserving forest areas and water resources to be abundant, as a vital source of food and an overall ecosystem that we must cherish.
