Principles
As BLCP Power Station has implemented organic farming projects since 2015 and aims to expand the organic farming network to surrounding communities, the company has collaborated with communities to shift from chemical-based vegetable cultivation to an organic farming system. Under this project, we will develop model plots as follows:
Transform chemical-based hydroponic vegetable plots into organic farming model plots using smart farming system technology (Smart farmer internet of things or IoT).
Transform chemical-based raised-bed vegetable plots into organic farming model plots using smart farming system technology (Smart farmer internet of things or IoT).
As BLCP Power Station has implemented organic farming projects since 2015 and aims to expand the organic farming network to surrounding communities, the company has collaborated with communities to shift from chemical-based vegetable cultivation to an organic farming system. Under this project, we will develop model plots as follows:

From the operations under the "Pay 1, Get More Than 1" strategy of the Community Relations Department, the importance of educational support to develop vocational education learning and teaching to international standards, in line with the Thailand 4.0 policy, was recognized. This led to the concept of developing a smart farming system in collaboration with Rayong Technical College, aiming for participation in the New Generation Inventors' Contest at the national level. This project can also collaborate with the Rayong Provincial Agricultural Office to jointly drive Rayong Province's policy to promote farmers in producing safe, standardized agricultural products.

Objectives

Develop a smart farming system and jointly develop learning and teaching to address the need for developing vocational education personnel to international standards and in line with the Thailand 4.0 policy.
Jointly develop a smart farming system for entry into the New Generation Inventors' Contest at the vocational education level (Smart Farming) to the national level.
To establish a network for exchanging information and development among farmer groups in Maptaphut Municipality, Technical College, Rayong Provincial Agricultural Office, Rayong Agricultural Research and Development Center, and the Company.
To foster good relations among farmer groups in Maptaphut Municipality, Technical College, Rayong Provincial Agricultural Office, Rayong Agricultural Research and Development Center, and the Company.

Expected Outcomes
Khod Hin Mittraphap Community: Khun Lamyong Srasri of Khod Hin Mittraphap Community gained a new life, transitioning from chemical farming to a sustainable organic way of life with smart farming system technology. This resulted in the community having a source of organic vegetables, and farmers having more time for other activities.
Khlong Nam Hu Community: Khun Samrit Lamai of Khlong Nam Hu Community gained a new life, transitioning from chemical farming to a sustainable organic way of life with smart farming system technology. This resulted in the community having a source of organic vegetables, and farmers having more time for other activities.
Khod Hin – Khao Phai Community Organic Farming Enterprise is able to sell products such as aromatic soil and liquid fertilizer to surrounding communities, thereby creating an organic farming network.
Rayong Technical College: Received data from farmers via the smart farming system application, which will be used for further development towards becoming national-level smart farming system developers.
Rayong Provincial Agricultural Office: Disseminated academic information, promoted and transferred agricultural knowledge to target groups, and driven policies to encourage farmers to produce safe, standardized agricultural products, in accordance with the policies of the Rayong Provincial Agricultural Office.
BLCP Power Limited: Developed sustainability for communities, educational institutions, and government agencies by recognizing social and environmental responsibility, leading to stable, prosperous, and sustainable development.
