BLCP delivers COVID-19 prevention equipment with care and sends encouragement to overcome this crisis together.

April 29, 2020 – BLCP delivers encouragement to fight COVID-19 by providing prevention equipment to government officials who diligently and steadfastly perform their duties screening the public, without rest or discouragement from any obstacles.

Ms. Parichart Assawakul, Deputy Managing Director, Corporate Administration Business Group, BLCP Power Company Limited (BLCP), Map Ta Phut Industrial Estate, Rayong Province, delivered 100 reflective vests, 100 signal batons, 500 raincoats, and 1,000 BLCP Face Shields (made with heart, caring for society) to Mr. Insee Kerdmanee, Permanent Secretary of Rayong Province, who received them as a representative at the Rayong Provincial Government Center. These items will be distributed to police officers and security checkpoint personnel at various screening points in Rayong Province.

Subsequently, Ms. Parichart traveled to deliver "500 cloth masks" to Police Major General Chalong Sukchan, Commander of Rayong Provincial Police, at Rayong Provincial Police Station, for distribution to police officers for use in preventing the spread of COVID-19.

Ms. Parichart Assawakul stated that BLCP continuously cares about the quality of life and well-being of the community. When the COVID-19 outbreak occurred, the company collaborated with Map Ta Phut Municipality, communities, and various community enterprises in Map Ta Phut Municipality, Rayong Province, to continuously create jobs and generate income for the community. This was achieved by having communities and various community enterprises jointly produce "cloth masks and Face Shields (made with heart, caring for the community)" from February 2020 until the present. The company then distributed these to communities, public hospitals, and various government agencies, including continuously supporting essential medical equipment and supplies to all sectors.

BLCP wishes to offer encouragement to medical teams, healthcare personnel, and officials in all sectors to overcome the COVID-19 crisis together. Even though the number of infected persons has significantly decreased, we urge everyone to "remain vigilant and not let their guard down."
