The BLCP Power Station's monthly air quality report for September 2024 presented ambient air quality monitoring results for various parameters, including Total Suspended Particulate (TSP), Particulate Matter less than 10 micrometers (PM10), Sulfur Dioxide (SO2), and Nitrogen Dioxide (NO2). Measurements were conducted at Tha Kuan, Trok Thai Muslim, PTT Housing, and Wat Makham Chalood monitoring stations throughout September 2024.
The 24-hour average monitoring results for Total Suspended Particulate (TSP) throughout September 2024 at Tha Kuan, Trok Thai Muslim, PTT Housing, and Wat Makham Chalood monitoring stations showed that all measured values were below the legal standard of 330 micrograms per cubic meter. Additionally, information on sample collection at Shelter B and Shelter C at various times was also noted.
For the 24-hour average monitoring of Particulate Matter less than 10 micrometers (PM10) in September 2024, all measured values from every station, including Tha Kuan, Trok Thai Muslim, PTT Housing, and Wat Makham Chalood, were found to be below the legal standard of 120 micrograms per cubic meter. Information on sample collection at Shelter A and Shelter C at various times was also noted.
Regarding the hourly maximum values for Sulfur Dioxide (SO2) and Nitrogen Dioxide (NO2) throughout September 2024 at Tha Kuan, Trok Thai Muslim, PTT Housing, and Wat Makham Chalood monitoring stations, all measured values were found to be below the legal standards, which are 300 ppb for SO2 and 170 ppb for NO2.
