BLCP Power Station's April 2026 Air Quality Report presents monitoring results from the Continuous Emission Monitoring System (CEMS) and 4 surrounding Ambient Air Quality Monitoring Stations (AQMS). All measured parameters are within standard limits and safe for health.
Regarding stack emissions, measurements for Total Suspended Particulates (TSP), Sulfur Dioxide (SO2), and Nitrogen Oxides (NOx) were below both Thai legal standards and EIA requirements. Specifically, TSP was below "≤120 mg/m³@7%O2" and "≤43 mg/m³@7%O2", respectively; SO2 was below "≤320 ppmvd@7%O2" and "≤262 ppmvd@7%O2", respectively; and NOx was below "≤350 ppmvd@7%O2" and "≤241 ppmvd@7%O2", respectively.
For ambient air quality measured at 4 stations, namely Wat Takuan, Soi Thoedthai Muslim, PTT Staff Housing Fence, and Wat Mab Chalood, Total Suspended Particulates (TSP), Particulate Matter less than 10 microns (PM10), Sulfur Dioxide (SO2), and Nitrogen Dioxide (NO2) were all within Thai legal standards. Specifically, TSP did not exceed 200 µg/m³, PM10 did not exceed 100 µg/m³, SO2 did not exceed 100 ppb, and NO2 did not exceed 120 ppb.
BLCP Power Station utilizes clean coal technology, such as Electrostatic Precipitators (ESP) for dust collection and Flue Gas Desulfurization (FGD) for SO2 removal. The plant also monitors air quality 24 hours a day and reports the results to government agencies and the community monthly. Further details are available in the attached file.
