The Tripartite Committee Meeting for BLCP Power Company Limited's Power Plant Project No. 64-2/2560 was held on Thursday, June 15, 2560, from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM at the meeting/seminar room of the Kiang Saket Energy Building, BLCP Power Station. Mr. Wira Mawijak chaired the meeting. The meeting approved the minutes of Meeting No. 63-1/2560 and acknowledged matters reported by the Chairman.
BLCP Power Station reported on the progress of its CSR and community relations activities between January and March 2560, with 3,739 visitors to the power plant and a total of 109,972 visitors from 2544 to the present. Additionally, the company achieved 3 million hours of work without lost-time injuries and received the Environmental and Safety Governance Flag award for the year 2560.
The overall environmental quality monitoring results met the specified standards, including both air quality discharged from the stack (sulfur dioxide, nitrogen dioxide, opacity, particulate matter) and water quality discharged into the sea (temperature, pH, residual chlorine, mercury, cadmium, chlorine). Furthermore, the seawater quality around Map Ta Phut Bay and marine ecology also complied with the established standards.
The sulfur content in coal used in 2559 and 2560 met EIA requirements. For electricity generation between December 2559 and February 2560, Unit 1 produced 1,334,278 MWh-net and Unit 2 produced 1,336,345 MWh-net, with a total coal consumption of 978,305 tons and a total export of fly ash and bottom ash of 149,981.08 tons. Additionally, the BLCP Power Station Project Unit 3 (Project Expansion) has received EHIA report approval and is currently under government consideration.
The marine ecosystem restoration project around Ko Saket has been nursing 3,000 coral pieces on a floating raft since January 2560, with continuous monitoring of their growth rates. The grown corals will subsequently be transplanted into the underwater area during September-October 2560.
The meeting acknowledged various reports and scheduled the next meeting for June 2560. The company provided Khanom Tom from the Nong Nam Yen community as a snack and supported travel expenses of 200 Baht for all attendees.
